I’ll be honest with you. I don’t use fake eyelashes (neither semi-permanent nor temporary) because I don’t need them. Mine are full and long all by themselves. However, sometimes I like to glam it up a bit, ya know, just because.
FIY: Downside to having long eyelashes (because yes, there’s one!). They catch EVERYTHING that stands in their way. Dust, hair, sand grain, name it! And my contact lenses loooove it. #not
So recently, I came across a product that kind of blew my mind just by its concept. It’s a three-step mascara composed of two products by Elle R Cosmétiques. First, you apply a coat of a black gel and then, while it’s still wet, you brush short little fibers onto your lashes so they stick to your fresh coat of mascara. To seal it all together, you finish with another coat of tinted gel. Voilà!
The result is halfway between real and fake eyelashes and would look amazing with a thick black eyeliner or a nude lip. I have to say that the product’s packaging and branding are not usually what I go for, but its super powers kind of outshine all the rest.
