It’s summertime: 15 ethically made bathing suits

I won’t tell you all the cliché stuff that usually goes with bathing suit articles, like “shopping for a bikini is just as enjoyable as a Brazilian wax performed with tweezers». That kind of statement implies from the get-go that you don’t like your body and thus, showing it in public sounds like your worst nightmare.

Girl, really? No, that’s enough. I’m far from being 100% comfortable with my body (often quite the opposite), but I want you to focus on the fun side of bathing suits today. “Swimwear” means summer, beach vacay, afternoon at the spa, weekend at the lake, aperol spritz, Pointe-Calumet’s Beach Club (that one was a joke)… In other words, if you need a bathing suit, it means that you’re about to do something exciting. So forget about you 10 extra pounds around your ankles and consider yourself lucky to even have the occasion to wear a bathing suit.

Now that’s off my chest, here are a couple of my faves of the season, which are not only gorgeous, they’re also ethically made (environmentally and socially). Bikinis, high-waisted briefs, one-pieces, everything here will just highlight how much of a hottie you already are.
